Surgical specimen of resected bowel. Tumour makes whitish circular stenosis at the middle part of resected ileal loop.

Enteroscope is introduced for 25 cm into the small bowel. Bright light (of the tip) is seen (below the right hand of surgeon). Remaining part of the small bowel is clumped to prevent small bowel inflatation).

Endoscopic picture is different from the ”standard” one. Lights of operative lamp at the theatre illuminate the small bowel wall and its vascular pattern. Normal small bowel picture in the intra-operative enteroscopy.
